Welcome to the Grade 5 page at Jackson School!
Grade 5 is a pivotal year at the Jackson Main campus, where students engage in a rigorous and enriching educational experience. Our fifth graders develop advanced skills and knowledge across various subjects, with a special emphasis on the Next Generation Science assessment in the spring.
Our Grade 5 curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire students, focusing on advanced literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies. We incorporate hands-on experiments, collaborative projects, and critical thinking exercises to ensure students grasp complex concepts and apply their learning in meaningful ways.
Our dedicated teachers provide individualized instruction and support, catering to the diverse needs and strengths of each student. In Grade 5, students are encouraged to take on leadership roles, work collaboratively, and develop a strong sense of responsibility and independence.
In addition to the core curriculum, students participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and special projects that enhance their educational journey. We strive to create a vibrant and supportive learning community where every student can thrive.
