Welcome to the Grade 6 page at Jackson School!
Grade 6 is a milestone year at the Jackson Main campus, marking the culmination of the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Our sixth graders engage in a comprehensive and challenging curriculum that prepares them for the transition to middle school while fostering a lifelong love for learning.
Throughout the year, students delve into advanced topics in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, developing critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills. Our Grade 6 curriculum emphasizes inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to explore their interests and connect their studies to real-world issues.
A highlight of Grade 6 is the end-of-year exhibition showcase in the spring. This capstone project allows students to demonstrate their learning, creativity, and collaboration skills by investigating a topic of personal interest and presenting their findings to the school community. It is a celebration of their hard work and growth throughout the PYP.
Our dedicated teachers provide individualized instruction and support, helping each student achieve their full potential. We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities, leadership opportunities, and special events that enrich the educational experience and create lasting memories.
Explore our page to learn more about our curriculum, meet our exceptional teachers, and stay informed about upcoming events and important news. Welcome to an inspiring and transformative year in Grade 6 at Jackson School!
