I started in April 2023, so this will be my first full year.

What is your vision as an educator?

My vision as an educator is to instill a life-long love of learning and a long-lasting desire to continue learning by promoting creativity and incorporating student voice and choice. I believe that as an educator of young minds, I am responsible for nurturing a welcoming environment where students understand that their opinions and feelings are just as important as their academic achievements. I am also passionate about providing my students with experiences and opportunities that will better equip them with the skills they need to navigate a world that is unpredictable and forever changing. A world that they will one day become leaders of.

In regards to EdTech, I believe in appropriately implementing technology in the classroom to create real life, authentic, memorable learning experiences for my students while also instilling critical digital literacy and 21st century skills so they will be successful in a technology-driven world.
