What is your vision as an educator?

My vision as an educator is to inspire scholars to love learning by providing a classroom environment that is safe, motivating and student centered. Scholars play active roles in our school and have "Voice and Choice". Through instructional practice and data, adjustments are needed to continuously improve. Preparing scholars to be 21st Century learners while collaborating, communicating, problem solving and thinking critically will lead them to a future full of opportunities. I believe educating the heart along with educating the mind is the passport to success!

My philosophy as a pedagogical leader is to promote and model the attributes of a global-minded citizen while supporting, inspiring and empowering members of our learning community towards common goals where learner agency and trust is prevalent.
