Health Office

The Hempstead Union Free School District’s Health Office is dedicated to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of every scholar. Our team of certified school nurses provides compassionate care, health education, and emergency support to ensure that scholars are healthy, safe, and ready to learn each day.

The Health Office works closely with families, teachers, and healthcare providers to manage medical conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate health records. We also coordinate districtwide initiatives related to wellness, immunizations, and preventive care.

We believe that a healthy mind and body are essential for academic success. Families are encouraged to contact their school nurse for any questions regarding physical exams, immunization requirements, or individual health plans.
