On Monday, August 31, Hempstead Public Schools officially welcomed our newest educators and staff members during New Staff Orientation, kicking off the 2026-2027 school year!
Superintendent Gary Rush, members of the Hempstead Board of Education, and district officials welcomed our new team members and shared words of encouragement as they begin their journey serving the students and families of Hempstead.
The day was an opportunity to connect, learn, build relationships, and prepare for an exciting year ahead. Each new member of our team brings unique talents, experiences, and ideas that will help us continue creating unlimited possibilities for our students.
We are excited to see the impact you will make throughout our schools and community!
Welcome to Hempstead. Welcome to the family.
One Team. One Mission. Unlimited Possibilities for Students.
