The Hempstead Adult & Community Education Program, in partnership with EOC of Nassau County, Inc., is offering a FREE 3-month Pharmacy Technician Program for eligible adults interested in beginning a career in the healthcare field.
Participants will gain valuable skills in:
- Prescription processing
- Medication preparation
- Inventory management
- Customer service
Classes are offered at no cost during evening hours, making this an excellent opportunity for working adults seeking career training.

October 12 – December 22, 2026
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Pass a background check
- Be available to attend classes Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM and virtually on Saturday mornings
