ABGS Middle School Construction Update | August 2026

Exciting progress continues on the expansion and modernization of Alverta B. Gray Schultz Middle School. Watch our latest video for a closer look at the work underway as the project moves toward its anticipated opening in September 2027.

The expanded campus will address overcrowding, replace temporary classrooms, and provide scholars with a modern, student-centered learning environment. New features will include:

• A two-story academic wing

• Flexible, technology-supported classrooms

• Collaborative learning spaces

• A new cafeteria and Student Learning Exchange

• An enhanced library, media center, and media studio

• Dedicated performing arts and athletic spaces

• New and improved athletic fields

• Redesigned parking, entrances, traffic flow, and security features

 

Each milestone brings us closer to creating safe and innovative spaces that support collaboration, creativity, and academic success.
