ABGS Marketplace Food Pantry Continues to Support Hempstead Families

The ABGS Marketplace Food Pantry remains committed to serving the Hempstead community by providing nutritious food and essential support for students and their families. Located at 70 Greenwich Street, Hempstead, NY 11550, the pantry is open every Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

Families can receive a variety of food items including fresh fruits, vegetables, canned goods, dry cereal, fresh meat, and more. The pantry is part of the district’s ongoing Community Schools initiative, which focuses on meeting the needs of the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Marketplace provides an important resource to ensure that no scholar or family goes without access to healthy meals. Community members are encouraged to visit during pantry hours or contact Ms. Adams, Community Director, for additional information.
