It is my great pleasure to introduce myself as a proud, devoted and loving father, husband, son, brother, educator, coach, athlete and professional. In regards to my education, I have earned two Masters Degrees, which expand on the knowledge gained from my Baccalaureate and Associates Degrees. My certification as a Public School Teacher, School Building Leader and School District Leader is complemented by over 25 years of experience in education.
Throughout my tenure, my belief that all students can learn given a positive learning environment has evolved and blossomed with my positions. As an Academic Intervention Specialist and Classroom Instructor, working hands on with teachers and students, I mastered the implementation of curriculum initiatives including the NGLS and CCLS. I developed my leadership competency during my role as a Curriculum Specialist. This challenged me to perform the duties of an instructional leader including, but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, training, curriculum development and community relations. Next, as a District-Wide Professional Developer, I enjoyed the opportunity to share, learn and coach at the district level with all of the schools and grade levels from Pre-K-12. Collaboration, professional development and data driven decision-making became paramount standards within my practice with student learning outcomes and their general well-being as the essential focus.
In closing, I am a highly motivated individual who thrives on hard work and acquiring new skills and knowledge and I look forward to working and growing with you to build better tomorrows.
