HR Newsletter: Summer 2026

All Staff,

As we enter the summer months and reflect on another successful school year, the Office of Human Resources is pleased to share important updates, accomplishments, and opportunities that continue to support our employees and strengthen our educational community.

In this edition, we highlight significant developments regarding the New York State Tier 6 retirement pension system and what these changes may mean for current and future employees. We also celebrate the successful completion of Year 2 of our Teacher Residency Program, which continues to cultivate a strong pipeline of highly qualified educators dedicated to serving our students.

Additionally, we are excited to showcase the growth of our Future Educators Clubs, an initiative designed to inspire and support the next generation of teachers by providing students with meaningful exposure to careers in education. These programs reflect our ongoing commitment to workforce development and educational excellence.

You will also find information recognizing our retirees and employees who have been granted tenure, as well as updates on professional learning opportunities and other Human Resources initiatives aimed at supporting our employees and fostering a positive workplace culture.
