New Registrations for 2025-2026 Pre-K
Registration is now open!
To be eligible, you must have a child residing in the Hempstead School District who has attained the age of four years on or before December 1, 2025. All applications must be received no later than Monday, April 28, 2025.
Our full day program runs 5 days a week at no cost to families and includes breakfast and lunch. There are many spots available, but in the event there are a greater number of applicants than spots available, a lottery will be conducted.

The District has revised its Enrollment/Registration materials in order to comply with the requirements of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education (8 NYCRR 100.2(y)).
