The mission of the Hempstead Public Schools Instructional Technology Department is to empower all scholars, educators, and families with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to thrive in a digital world. We are committed to supporting equitable access to technology, fostering innovation in teaching and learning, and building digital literacy across our diverse school community.

Through purposeful integration of digital tools and continuous professional learning, we aim to prepare all scholars to be responsible digital citizens, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners in a globally connected society.

• Family Engagement: Offer resources and training to support families in navigating digital platforms and tools.

• Innovation: Foster a culture of exploration and innovation with emerging technologies such as AI, coding, and multimedia creation.
