Who We Are
Instructional Technology Coaches are dedicated educators who work alongside teachers, scholars, and administrators to enhance teaching and learning through the effective use of technology. Our coaches serve as trusted partners and instructional leaders, committed to fostering 21st-century skills and digital literacy across the Hempstead Union Free School District.
Our Role
Instructional Technology Coaches are here to:

Model and Co-Teach innovative, tech-integrated lessons in classrooms.

Support Curriculum Integration by aligning digital tools with district goals and NYS standards.

Deliver Professional Development on platforms like Microsoft Office, Schoology, i-Ready, NWEA, Lexia, Amira, and more.

Introduce Emerging Technologies such as coding, digital storytelling, and blended learning strategies.

Build Teacher Capacity through one-on-one coaching, small-group workshops, and ongoing mentorship.

Support Data-Driven Instruction by helping staff leverage digital tools to track and respond to scholar progress.

Foster Digital Citizenship by guiding the responsible use of technology in schools.
