Applications & Services Catalog

The Hempstead Public Schools Instructional Technology Applications & Services Catalog is a comprehensive guide to the digital tools, platforms, and technology services available to support teaching, learning, and communication across the district. This catalog is designed for students, educators, and parents and provides clear information about how each application supports instruction, enhances engagement, promotes digital literacy, and strengthens collaboration between school and home.

To ensure easy and secure access to instructional resources, the district uses Clever, a Single Sign-On (SSO) system. Single Sign-On allows students and educators to log-in once using a single username and password to access multiple approved learning applications, eliminating the need to remember separate logins and maximizing instructional time. Clever serves as a central launch point for many of the district’s digital learning tools, creating a seamless and age-appropriate user experience.

Hempstead Public Schools is committed to providing timely and reliable technological support. Students and educators can submit technology help requests through Incident IQ, the district’s official technology helpdesk system. Incident IQ allows users to report issues related to devices, applications, accounts, or system access and ensures that requests are tracked and addressed efficiently by the appropriate support staff.

Together, the applications and services outlined in this catalog reflect Hempstead Public Schools’ ongoing commitment to equitable access, innovation, and safe, effective use of technology. By leveraging high-quality digital resources and support systems, the district empowers students to learn, educators to teach, and families to stay informed and engaged in a connected learning environment.
