Hempstead Public Schools District Orchestra Program

The district orchestra program offers students the opportunity to develop their skills on string instruments, beginning in third grade. Students receive instruction in violin, viola, cello, and bass, fostering musical growth, ensemble performance skills, and a lifelong appreciation for orchestral music. The program emphasizes both individual technique and collaborative musicianship, preparing students to perform in school concerts, community events, and district-wide ensembles.
