Dear Hempstead Family,

It is with deep sadness that I share heartbreaking news with our school community. We have learned of the tragic passing of a 12-year-old student of our students and his dad as the result of a residential fire. This is a tragic loss and our hearts are with the student’s family, friends, and all those who knew and cared for them.
