Charity Levy
Hempstead
High School 2004 Graduate
 |
Charity Levy was born
on June 27, 1986 in Valley Stream, NY to
Jared and Rachel Levy. Throughout her life
she has been known as a young woman who has
faced enormous challenges with determination
and real grit proving her resilience.
She attended Hempstead High School and
graduated in 2004. It was while she was at
Hempstead High School that her mother was
diagnosed with cancer. The long illness had
taken its toll on the family finances and a
college education seemed inconceivable.
However, Charity had received numerous
scholarships to help pursue her college
education at Hofstra University. |
|
Thankfully, her mother
has won her battle and she and Charity’s
father watched their daughter graduate on
May 18, 2008 – with dual Bachelors of
Business Administration degrees in
International Business and Information
Technology.
She also holds a
minor in linguistics and speaks five
languages. Her goal is to pursue a career at
the United Nations. Charity continues to
give back to her alma mater and Hempstead
High School through various activities. |
